However, what further develops the music is the trust between the performers and the spontaneity in their performance. Keyboardist Gary Versace aimed to fuse all of these elements together in his new work, Three Track Mind. This album is a collection of fresh arrangements of standards and popular songs, brilliantly performed by a cutting-edge trio featuring Francois Moutin (bassist) and Rudy Royston (drummer). Versace has long been highly regarded for his outstanding playing skills on the piano, organ, and accordion, and has performed with a wide range of wonderful collaborators. His playing has colored the works of diverse artists such as John Scofield, Maria Schneider, John Hollenbeck, and Madeleine Peyroux. Versace is also a composer and educator.Versace's universal approach to musical collaboration has afforded him the opportunity to perform with such great musicians as Francois Moutin and Rudy Royston.
