Wagner's 4th movement by Neme Järvi! An "orchestral" version of Meistersinger! Nämé Järvi, the eldest member of the Järvi family, a prestigious Estonian musical family, and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra will perform the 4th movement of Wagner's "Die Meistersinger" with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. The fourth movement of the "orchestral" Wagner series, which has continued with "The Ring of the Nibelung", "Parsifal", and "Tristan and Isolde", is "Die Meistersinger"! The arrangement by Henk de Vrieshaar (1953-), a percussionist with the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra and one of the world's leading arrangers, and the dynamic sound synonymous with his father Järvi and the RSNO, are a perfect match. And the coupling with "Meistersinger" is quite strong, including the Frieher-complemented version of Wagner's unfinished work "Two Tragic Interludes" and the Mottl-edited "Christopher Columbus.Since his return to Chandos, Neeme Järvi has continued to bring out "express performances" of Bruckner and Mahler and "orchestral" Wagner.
