Green Day, the world's most beloved punk rock band, is proud to present their rare early studio live recordings for the BBC between 1994 and 2001, now officially available for the first time! This is the first official release of their rare early studio live recordings recorded between 1994 and 2001 for the BBC. Sensitive to the winds of the times, Green Day has continued to play POP punk music at high volume, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2015. The band's most important live soundtracks are now available as official recordings. On June 8, 1994, four months after Green Day released "Dookie," the band performed at the BBC in London, England. They recorded a studio session at BBC's Maida Vale Studio in London, England. The energy of "She," "When I Come Around," "Basket Case," and "2000 Light Years" captured on tape was on the verge of exploding onto the world.They then appeared again at the Maida Vale Studio in 1996, playing "Brain Stew/Jaded" and "Walking Contradictions". Then in 1998, during the "NIMROD" era, the band exploded into the studio with the ultra-hyper "Nice Guys Finish Last" live. Also in 2001, the band recorded four studio sessions, including "Church On Sunday" from the album "Warning". Green Day's "BBC SESSIONS," which will be released this year, contains 16 songs from their four studio sessions. All of the recordings have been remastered for this release, and all are in their official form for the first time. Many of the songs on the album are still played at their live shows. This will be a big present to their fans from the band who had to stop touring due to the Corona disaster.
