The Flaming Lips, led by the genius Wayne Coyne, released their 10th studio album in 2002, "YOSHIMI BATTLES", which was highly acclaimed for its electro-psychedelic indie rock sound and catapulted them into a mainstream band. The two EPs from the "THE PINK ROBOTS" era are now available for the long-awaited first time on analog! The two EPs from the "YOSHIMI BATTLES THE PINK ROBOTS" era are now available for the first time on vinyl.The EP "EGO TRIPPING AT THE GATES OF HELL" was originally released at the end of 2003. Titled "Ego Tripping At The Gates of Hell" from the album "YOSHIMI BATTLES THE PINK ROBOTS," the EP features two remixed versions of the song (one of which was done by Jason Bentley) and the song "Do You Realize?" remix of "Do You Realize?" by Postal Service, as well as four songs not featured on the album. The songs on this EP are also included on last year's 6-CD box set "YOSHIMI BATTLES THE PINK ROBOTS (20TH-ANNIVERSARY BOX SET)," but this is the first time the EP has been released in analog format. This is a collection of rare tracks from a band that is always searching for creativity in the rock world. This EP is a must-have for fans, and its long-awaited return.
