The heroes of bedroom pop are back! Cavetown, now a worldwide favorite, releases his long-awaited new album! The single "1994," which preceded the album and for which Skinner also co-directed the music video, is a more elaborate version of his previous album, "Sleepyhead," released in 2020, which tells a unique story and expresses the innermost feelings of everyone. Cavetown produced the album himself in his home studio, holed up in his garage and infusing the album with a powerful new life force, with less ornate alternative pop. The release of this album is the first news for Cavetown fans in a long time, and they have been waiting for it for over two years. In the meantime, the popularity of Cavetown's music has continued to snowball, with a growing and passionate fan community around the world. The first single, "Fall In Love With A Girl," released earlier this year, features beabadoobee and was named one of "The 25 Best Pride Songs of 2022 (So Far)" by Billboard. The single "1994" features graceful, gentle vocals and incredibly catchy rhymes that reaffirm his exceptional ability Cavetown says of the song, "It's about noticing guilt and trying to solve it, and how much it gets overblown in your head. In 2018, he released his first full-length album "LEMON BOY" and signed a major label deal with SIRE Records, a subsidiary of Warner Records, and has sold out shows around the world and performed at major festivals such as Reading & Leeds and Lollapalooza.
