The Grateful Dead's "Core Four" - Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, Phil Lesh, and Bob Weir - gathered on stage to perform to an audience of over 200,000 people over the three days. The event was also viewed by thousands through pay-per-view and live viewing in theaters.The best selection of their historic live show is now available on a 2-CD set!" Joining the "Core Four" on stage are Trey Anastasio (guitar), Jeff Kimmenti (keyboards), and Bruce Hornsby (piano). This 2-CD set includes highlights from three inspiring days of performances. The venue for the show, Chicago's Soldier Field, is where Jerry Garcia played his last show as a member of the Grateful Dead in 1995 - many in the audience at the show must have been able to draw parallels between these two historic shows. The Grateful Dead celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2015. FARE THEE WELL" has been declared as the last concert featuring the "Core Four" of the Grateful Dead.
