Her first new album in three years, IN THESE SILENT DAYS, born of a lockdown, is now complete, and will be honored at the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards in February 2019 with awards for "Best Record," "Best Album," "Best Song," "Best American Roots Performance," "Best American Roots Song," "Best Album," "Best American Roots Song," and "Best American Roots Song. The album was nominated in six categories, including three major ones: "Best Americana Album," "Best American Roots Song" (The Joke), "Best American Roots Performance," "Best American Roots Performance," "Best American Roots Performance," and "Best Americana Album. Brandi Carlisle is a talented singer/songwriter who has made quite a splash with her wins for "Best American Roots Performance" (The Joke) and "Best American Roots Performance" (The Joke). She is also a member of THE HIGHWOMEN, a collaborative project of female artists at the forefront of the contemporary Americana/Country scene, and has contributed the theme song "Carried Me With You" to the Pixar film "The Magic of the Half. She is now releasing her first new album in three years as a singer/songwriter in her own name. The long-awaited new album, "IN THESE SILENT DAYS," was formed during the lockdown period when, as the title suggests, "everyone was forced to shut down and stay quietly at home.Brandi Carlisle was enjoying the biggest break of her career to date, with a Grammy Award, her first sold-out arena show at Madison Square Garden, a tour, and collaborations with a variety of artists, but the global pandemic of the new The global pandemic of the new coronavirus forced her to stay home, slow down her activities, and reevaluate her priorities. Fortunately for her, her home was located on 90 acres in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains outside of Seattle, a property she shared not only with her family, but also with her longtime collaborators and band members, brothers Tim and Phil Hanselos.
