The second edition of the comeback album with a lot to say is being reissued in analog format! Also includes a cover of "I am the Waiting Man"! After the release of THE END in 1974, Warhol's muse formed a fruitful partnership with French director Philippe Garrel for about seven films. 1979 saw her return to New York, where she began performing again, this time with John Cale and musical partner Lutz Ulbrich (Agitation Free and Ashra Tempel). She appeared at CBGB with Lutz Ulbrich (former guitarist for Agitation Free and Ashra Tempel). She then returned to France, where she met the young and talented Corsican bassist Philippe Kirisini, who would produce her comeback album, DRAMA OF EXILE, in 1981. The album was released in two different versions; this is a reissue of the second edition, which was released in 1983 after a legal dispute with Aura Records, which released the first edition. The first edition contained nine songs, but the second edition excludes "Purple Lips" and adds "Saeta" and "Vegas," which were released as 7" singles in 1981.The album features Nico's covers of the Velvet Underground's "I'm Waiting for the Man" and David Bowie's "Heroes.
