Brandi Carlisle, who has made great strides as a singer/songwriter leading the American music scene, releases a deluxe version of her album "In These Silent Days," which was nominated for three Grammy Awards! Brandi Carlisle has grown into one of the leading singer/songwriters on the American music scene. The studio album "In These Silent Days" was born out of a lockdown and was released in October 2021 under the title "The Sound of These Silent Days". Brandi has re-recorded the entire album at her home studio and will release a deluxe album, In The Canyon Haze, with a simpler version of "In The Canyon Haze" added. --In The Canyon Haze". The album is produced by Brandy herself and her longtime collaborators, the twin Hanselos brothers Phil and Tim, who once again produce, as they did on "In These Silent Days. The deluxe version includes newly reworked Laurel Canyon-inspired versions of songs from the original album, as well as a special cover of David Bowie's "Space Oddity". The release of this deluxe version was preceded by "You and Me on the Rock (In the Canyon Haze)" featuring his wife Catherine Carlisle. I wanted to give the fans something different from the usual "bonus tracks" in a creative way that would get them to buy the album twice! So, the Hanselos brothers and I holed up in a studio in the attic of our barn, just like the old days... and re-created the album in its entirety. Inspired by a life-changing experience at the (Joni Mitchell-hosted) Joni Jams, we came up with an image of Laurel Canyon's infamous music scene."
