Yoon-Chang Lim is a 19-year-old native of Shiheung, South Korea, who began playing piano at the age of 7. She won the Cleveland International Piano Competition for Young Pianists in 2018 and became the youngest winner of the Yoon-I-Sang International Music Competition in South Korea at the age of 15. She recently moved to Boston with her long-time teacher, Minsoo Song, and continues her studies at the New England Conservatory of Music.He currently fills concert halls around the world and has been invited to perform with the most prestigious orchestras and festivals. The album includes Chopin's "12 Exercises" Op.10 & Op.25. "For me, Chopin is a composer whose music reminds me of the past.
