In Japan, he is well known at the Pacific Music Festival and the Seiji Ozawa Matsumoto Festival, and in September 2022, he will assume the position of Principal Conductor of the NHK Symphony Orchestra. He will release a special three-CD digipak set of Nielsen's six symphonies recorded with the prestigious Danish National Symphony Orchestra (DR Radio Symphony Orchestra), of which he has been Principal Conductor since 2017.
