Barenboim Celebrates 80 Years! Daniel Barenboim will celebrate his 80th birthday on November 15, 2022. The master pianist and conductor is still active at the forefront of his art, and his latest release is the complete works of Schumann's symphonies. It was recorded live at the Philharmonie and the State Opera in Berlin last September and October. This is Barenboim's first recording since 1975 & 1977 with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
