This complete set of recordings is released to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Seemann's death (2023). This 25-CD + BDA box set includes a number of first-time CD releases, as well as a number of contemporary works and a fruitful partnership with violinist Wolfgang Schneiderhan. Hindemith's recordings are performed with Fritz Lehmann, the Berlin Philharmonic, the North German Radio Symphony Orchestra, Hans Schmidt-Isserstedt, the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra, the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, Ferdinand Leitner, and others. The original Hindemith recordings were made for the "Koch-Schwan" label and have long been out of print. The Blu-ray audio disc contains the complete Beethoven Violin Sonatas with Wolfgang Schneiderhan.The 84-page booklet includes essays on the work by music critics Joachim Kaiser and Karsten Dürer, as well as numerous artist photos.
