The legendary recording of the Piano Concerto No. 2 from 1993 is coupled with the 1991 recording of the Piano Concerto No. 1, which was released in a box set for the first time in the summer of 2021. The exceptional pianist Maria Joao Pires is also one of the great Chopin players of our time. Her recording of the Concerto No. 2 with Previn and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra has been a great success since its CD release in 1993.
