This is her first Chopin album since her second album "Chopin: The Complete Waltzes", which was a big hit. This personal album follows in Alice's footsteps, focusing on Chopin's "24 Preludes, Op. 28" and weaving in seven works that influenced Alice as interludes. Chopin's Preludes, Op. 28, which were written in all 24 keys, following Bach's mean-clavier cycle, are very accessible, as each piece is short and has a unique character that seems to freely spell out the poetic sentiment that overflows as it is inspired, one after another.
