The world of Rameau's music is depicted in a completely new concept by Minkowski, a leading figure in the French Baroque world. Minkowski also won a Record Academy Award for his opera "Dardanus" (463 4762), also by Rameau. Recently, all of Minkowski's musical activities, not only in the field of ancient music, have been highly acclaimed worldwide. This album consists of 17 orchestral works from Rameau's 11 operas, selected by Minkowski himself. All the pieces are vividly compiled as if they were originally composed as French Baroque dances or symphonic works, and even those who are a little hesitant to listen to the entire Baroque operas can easily enter the sparkling world of Rameau's music, and be captivated by it. The music is full of charm that will captivate you.
