Description:
A stunning "Ring of Finger" heard with orchestra, conducted by Christian Järvi Debut recording of the Baltic Sea Philharmonic, founded by Christian Järvi in 2016 and for which Christian serves as music director. founded in 2008 to train young musicians, the Baltic Sea The orchestra is based on the Youth Philharmonic, which was founded in 2008 to train young musicians, and brings together musicians from leading orchestras from 10 countries in the Baltic Sea region, including Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Russia, and Sweden, Under the enthusiastic leadership of Christian, the orchestra has already gained a great reputation. Orchestral excerpts and arrangements of Wagner's lengthy operas have been performed in various forms since the composer's lifetime, but the one that has attracted the most attention in recent years is an arrangement for orchestra by Henk de Vrieshel, a percussionist with the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra. This orchestral version of "The Ring" was premiered in 1992 and recorded by Ed de Waart (RCA), with the important music and light motifs extracted and combined into an orchestral piece lasting a little over an hour.In 2009, de Waart made a big splash when he was a guest with the NHK Symphony Orchestra, and in 2007, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra conducted by Neeme Järvi made a recording of the work for the Chandos label. Friedhel is also known as a composer and arranger, and has arranged similar orchestral versions of Wagner's "Tristan," "Die Meistersinger," and "Parsifal," as well as orchestral arrangements of Dvořák's piano piece "From the Bohemian Woods," and orchestrations of Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition" and "Death He has also arranged Dvořák's piano piece "From the Bohemian Woods" for orchestra and Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition" and "Death Songs and Dances" for percussion orchestra. According to Christian Järvi, who specializes in placing music within a social and cultural chain, Wagner's "Ring," which has its origins in Norse legend, is also music with a deep connection to the Baltic Sea cultural sphere. Christian Järvi's brilliant skill in depicting the dramatic ups and downs inherent in the work is evident in this album. Sony Music
