Description:

A 2014 release from the Canadian songstress, who has also released an album on Cellar Live. She sings with a silky voice and a melancholy tone. She sings her own compositions with a simple piano trio in the background. The songwriting seems to have been inspired by Joni Mitchell's technique, and the content reaches out to SSW fans as well. The songs are sung in a natural way with a somewhat stylish atmosphere, and take us to a bluesy, quietly burning world. Recorded in Brussels with the participation of Piet Verbist, a famous Belgian bassist.
