This is the best!!! Debut album by singer/songwriter Jose Lobo, born in Venezuela, raised in Brazil, and currently living and working in Montreal, Canada! He is one of the musicians working around Scott O, who is known for recording on the Quiet Corner and Cafe Apres-midi compilations, and Scott also mixes and plays on this album. The album is a mirage of lo-fi bossa~bedroom pop with delicate vocals and synth layers that seem as if they are about to fade away, combined with the rhythms of his own South American roots such as Venezuelan tonada and Brazilian bossa nova, and skillful songwriting!
