Modeled after the orchestra of the Pietà Charitable Institute, where Vivaldi was music director! Savall conducts an all-female orchestra in "The Four Seasons"! The Four Seasons" with Savall and an all-female orchestra! Vivaldi was the director of music at the Pietà della Charità (Ospedale) in Venice from 1703 to 1717. In the 21st century, a project modeled on the Ospedale where Vivaldi was music director is now underway. is now in motion. It is a women's project that brings together the best women musicians specializing in period instruments from Europe and around the world to study and perform orchestral and vocal repertoire from the pre-Vivaldi period to the early Romantic period (1600-1830). It is formed by women among the best performers selected in auditions held annually since 2019, led by Le Conseil des Nations.The orchestra also features Alfia Bakieva, an outstanding violinist and virtuoso from Tatar. ≪The "Four Seasons" includes both versions with and without readings.
