Description:

Taccani studied at the University of Milan and the Accademia di Musica Verdi, then studied privately with Ligeti before continuing his studies of electronic music at IRCAM. The music here is composed for chamber ensemble and is composed of a series of quick accumulations of note-forms, which shows the influence of Ligeti and the composers of the "New Complexity," but the overall bright all-tonal sound is very Italian. The ensemble's tightness in the performance makes for a very enjoyable listening experience. Tobu Shoji Co.
