Born in South Africa, based in Italy/France and now based in the UK, Daniel Biro (keyboard) is a composer/artist of experimental music, known to progressive rock fans as "STILL", a collaboration with Colin Bass of CAMEL, as well as a member of the UK-based Contemporary/Experimental label Sargasso. KING CRIMSON, a jazz-rock band led by keyboardist Daniel Biro (key), who also runs the experimental label Sargasso, has released its first new album in 15 years! The band's new album is the first new album by MYSTERIES OF THE REVOLUTION in about 15 years. As the band claims influences from bands such as KING CRIMSON, WEATHER REPORT, SOFT MACHINE, and MAHAVISHNU ORCHESTRA, the new album features a colorful mix of floating organ/synth, heavy guitar, and flute, which is directly related to Canterbury music, and a catchy main theme. The band's music is composition-oriented jazz-rock with catchy main melodies that stand out.In addition to this, it has an electronic ambient/experimental sound that reflects the musicality of Daniel's own solo activities, and a smooth and unique sound with a touch of Nu-Jazz sophistication. Vincenzo Lamagna (g), guitarist of the Italian jazz-rock band SLIVOIVTZ, plays on this album as a guest.
