RAMONES' 1981 album "PLEASANT DREAMS" will be reissued in 2024. The album features all original songs and is a time stamp in RAMONES' history. The lyrics were written almost equally by Joey and Dee Dee, with "She's a Sensation" and "The KKK Took My Baby Away" inspired by the woman now known as Linda Ramone. Pleasant Dreams, produced by Graham Gouldman with the intention of incorporating a pop sensibility into the Ramones' sophisticated roar, captures the band's desire to evolve while lamenting the trials and tribulations of rock stardom.
