UK's Proud Legendary DJ Sasha Releases Soundtrack for Experiential Exhibition Honoring Leonardo da Vinci! Sasha, a British DJ with a frontier spirit who has contributed greatly to the development of the American house/club scene, has long reigned supreme in the progressive house scene, appearing at ULTRA JAPAN in 2023 as Sasha & John Digweed. He will release his latest project "Da Vinci Genius" on Night Time Stories! The album is the soundtrack to "Da Vinci Genius," an art experience honoring the Italian Renaissance erudite Leonardo da Vinci, for which Sasha produced and curated the sound for the exhibition.To leverage their expertise in electronic music and passion for film, they convened longtime collaborators Dennis White, Dave Gardner, and Barry Jamieson, and drew inspiration from composers such as Nils Frahm, Jon Hopkins, and Vangelis. The goal was to recreate the atmosphere of the film music they love. Sasha also took inspiration from Stanley Kubrick and Hans Zimmer, fusing classical music with electronic sounds and incorporating choral music by Renaissance composer Josquin des Pres. A neo-classical ambient piece!
