Steve Hackett is one of the leading artists in the progressive rock scene today. While the original Genesis announced the end of their concert tour "The Last Domino? Tour" and the cessation of their activities, Steve Hackett has continued to produce solo albums and tour actively in pursuit of progressive rock. The presence of Steve Hackett is extremely important in the progressive rock scene. His recent pattern of activity has been to spend six months making and releasing a studio album, followed by an extensive world tour, with the first part of the concert consisting of representative songs from his latest and solo albums, and the second part a complete re-creation of classic Genesis albums from the past. After the tour, a live album (CD+DVD/Blu-ray) featuring performances at their favorite venues will be released. The band will begin a world tour titled "Foxtrot At 50 + Hackett Highlights" to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the release of their masterpiece "Foxtrot - Foxtrot" starting with a concert in Wales on September 9, 2022. The first part of the concert will feature representative songs from his solo albums, while the second part will feature six songs from the "Foxtrot" album in their entirety, with "Firth Of Fifth" and "Los Endos" as encores. The encore will be "Firth Of Fifth" and "Los Endos".The concert on October 9 in Brighton in southern England during this tour was recorded for a live album, including video, and is now being released.
