Description:

Marcus Miller, the bassist that Miles Davis recruited for his new project, is a top musician who is not only an accomplished player, but also a producer, composer, and arranger. He has called upon top jazz/fusion players David Sanborn, Joe Sample, and Steve Gadd to form a special band called "Legends". At the start of the band's activities, Eric Clapton was the last guitarist to be asked to join the band. The band performed at the Jazz Festivals in Europe after a long rehearsal period. The band's final performance at a jazz festival in Gasteiz, Basque Country, Spain, will be recorded and broadcast by a local TV station. The original audio masters recorded for the TV broadcast have been discovered, and have been remastered and released in the best sound quality available today. The setlist of the day was 14 songs including encores, and this live album contains the complete setlist in its entirety. The live session performance by these special members of the band, which includes representative songs of the five members as well as standard blues and jazz numbers, is worthy of the band's name "Legend" and shows a different side of Eric Clapton from the one he has shown in the past. A live archive! Imported domestic edition (with obi and bilingual English booklet)
