Jeff Beck disbanded his own band, the Jeff Beck Group, to pursue a new direction, but a car accident forced him to take some time off. In 1970, he restarted the Jeff Beck Group with four new members. The band's new album, "Rough and Ready," was different from the blues-based music of the past, but it was well received in the American market. With the release of their second album, "Jeff Beck Group," in 1972, the new Jeff Beck Group performed a studio show for the BBC Radio music program "In Concert" on June 29 of the same year. This live album, featuring the best remastering to date of the sub-master of the 8-song performance of the new album, is a tear-jerker for fans, as no official product was produced at this time.
