Brahms is the first Brahms Brahms Symphony with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, of which Canadian conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin is a member emeritus. This is the fourth recording with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, following "Schumann: Complete Symphonies" (2014), "Mendelssohn: Complete Symphonies" (2017), and "Beethoven: Complete Symphonies" (2022). The domestic CD will be released in Japan prior to the world release. Yannick Nézet-Séguin studied conducting, piano, composition, and chamber music at the Conservatoire de Musique de Montréal, where he graduated and studied with conductor Carlo Maria Giulini. Since September 2018, he has served as the third Music Director of the New York Metropolitan Opera.Since signing an exclusive contract with Deutsche Grammophon in 2018, he has released a solo piano album, Introspection, and several albums with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, Philadelphia Orchestra, and Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra.
