We are pleased to announce that we are now handling "NCPA Classics," an independent label of the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), located in the center of Beijing, China, which was completed in September 2007. The "Debut" series, as the name implies, is a collection of Chopin's works from the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) in Beijing, China. The "Debut" series, as the name suggests, is an exciting lineup of young Chinese talents to be introduced to the world. The 22 contestants from China were all from China, and the winner was Hao Lao, a Chinese prodigy. He was the only finalist among the 22 contestants from China, and his extraordinary talent has been the talk of the town for quite some time.The Hao Lao performance released on the NCPA Classics label is a live recording of the "Impressions of Chopin - Hao Lao Piano Recital" held on February 24, 2022, the year after the Chopin Competition, at the Music Office of the National Grand Theater of China. The program, consisting of Hao Lao's particular favorites selected from among many Chopin masterpieces, brings back memories of his brilliant performance at the Chopin Competition, while at the same time impressing us with Hao Lao's pianism on a much larger scale.
