Aoki a.k.a. Intan Rista Rini is a female singer with a meltingly sweet and sad voice. Rasvan Aoki is an Indonesian reggae unit consisting of guitarist Shofan Kusuma Firdaus, aka Rasvan, who is well versed in the comfort of Jamaican music and mellow jazz. Their sound is characterized by an urban and sophisticated sweet reggae sound based on Lovers Rock, fused with elements of Pop, Jazz, Swing, Blues, and Ska. The band's roots in Surabaya, a port city on the island of Java, are also utilized, with lyrics in English on five songs and in Indonesian on three. The mellow lovers' rock and the mild sound of the Indonesian language are a delight to listen to.
