Description:

Ghanaian musician King Isoba made a big splash here in Japan with his 2014 release "Wicked Leaders," which was named the #1 best album of the year (in the world music category) by Music Magazine. He was called "Ghana's rising star" at the time, and has been popular as one of the biggest names in African music for a long time. Isouba, who had difficulty producing overseas due to Corona, did most of the recording and mixing in a studio in Bongo, a city further from his hometown of Borogatanga in Burkina Faso. One of the key persons in this project is Arnold de Boer, known as Zea, a member of the Dutch alternative band "The EX". This recording has further developed the bond between Isova and Arnold de Boer, and has allowed Isova to further evolve musically as well. (C)RS
