Bo (also known as Boo) Linde was a Swedish composer of the 20th century. He studied composition with Lars-Erik Larsson at the Stockholm School of Music, and then continued his studies in Europe, beginning in Vienna. He was not well known, perhaps because he continued to write tonal, moderate works in the neoclassical style in the relatively progressive Swedish musical world of the time. The piano trio and six character pieces on the album were recorded for the first time in the world, and the piano trio version of the Divertimento was also recorded for the first time in the world.
