The first all-encompassing, all-encompassing best of Leonard Cohen's entire career Canadian poet, writer, singer-songwriter, and musician who gained popularity and acclaim across generations, borders, and genres, Leonard Cohen passed away suddenly in 2016. He was 82 years old. This is the first best-of album covering his entire career. It includes selected songs from his debut album "Songs of Leonard Cohen" and his last album "Thanks for the Dance". Also included for the first time is a previously unreleased live performance of "Hallelujah" from the 2008 Glastonbury Festival. The CD release coincides with the release of the new documentary film "Hallelujah: Leonard Cohen A Journey, A Song," which was previously released in June. The film features a wealth of previously unreleased archival material, including Cohen's personal notebooks, diaries, photographs, performance footage, and extremely rare recordings and interviews.
