The band's biggest outdoor show ever, which attracted over 250,000 people at Negworth Park on August 10 and 11, 1996, is said to have attracted over 2.5 million people, or 2% of the entire population of the U.K. at the time, who applied for tickets. All tickets were sold out within 24 hours. All tickets sold out within 24 hours, quickly breaking all UK box office records. It was the pinnacle of Britpop and a defining/emblematic event of its time.On the 25th anniversary of the Nebworth concert and the 30th anniversary of the formation of Oasis (Noel joined the band), the legendary live show that no one but those who were there at the time could see will be revealed in its entirety for the first time in its 25th year!
