It is no exaggeration to say that this is the pinnacle of Woodstock blue-eyed soul/white soul! This album was released just the same year as Brian Auger's Oblivion Express's "STRAIGHT AHEAD", and you can hear Brian Auger playing the organ on "Ridin' Thumb" by Shields & Crofts and the slow blues of " Crossroads Of My Life" also features guest appearances by Harvey's old friends Eric Kaz and Paul Harris, which is a nice addition.A great masterpiece with solid reviews on the free soul side, including "Party Music" by Melisa Manchester with a great Philly-style string arrangement by Gene Page and "Get It Up For Love" by funky Ned Doheny.
