This is the second album by Tomoya Nakai, a 25-string koto player who is highly regarded among young hogaku performers for his creative original works and collaborations with various musical genres. Nakai's "playing field" is very broad, including original pieces based on Noh plays such as "Izutsu" and "Aoiage," as well as "Akatonbo" (Red Dragonfly), which he says was inspired by the Finnish kantele.
