Second album of 2020, which includes a hit single and moves forward creatively and sonically Ginger Root's second LP, Rikki, released in the midst of COVID-19, is a major step forward creatively and sonically. Due to the pandemic, the release was pushed back from June to October 2020. After his first extensive U.S./European tour, Lew produced fan-favorite singles such as "Le Chateau" and "Karaoke," and has refocused his efforts on his next LP. The project was again combined with a music video and other compelling visual content directed by Lew himself; produced within the strict constraints of COVID, the content was primarily Cameron-driven. For the "Karaoke" music video, Lew used cardboard cutouts of office workers from stock photos to create the office space. Throughout the video, the character that Lew himself had created was forming a clearer identity.In the expanding world of Ginger Root, minor characters are reappearing, much to the delight of meticulous fans.
