In addition to releases with Jake &snuc, Jake has released the EP "Zan" with guitarist Yukihiro Atsumi and ILL-J-TECH "SOURCE" with ill-sugi, and the purely Yokohama MC "Mind" inviting beat makers such as FKD, ill-sugi and tajima hal. Release! Rin-irido will also participate! This is his first solo work. The edgy words are intertwined with the beats of the beatmakers linked to each site, and the work is filled with Jake's unmistakable "mind".Beatmakers include the multi-talented FKD, Kyoto music junkie Jackie Gen, the internationally acclaimed ill-sugi, ZATO from Ishigaki Island's HERBANclique, who will lead the next generation, and sarutobiii, who produced "Smoke Weed" for Chigasaki DIRTY JOINT, The most important beat makers in Japan were lined up, such as Yamabequo, a sound artist from Kansai, mosaic404 from Okinawa, who made his mark on the scene by producing CHOUJI's "Struggling," snuc, whose appearance at Ringo Music Festival is still fresh in our minds, and tajima hal, a master of using SPs. The guest artists include Rinirido, who is active nationwide as Reppen Chiba, BOB, who belongs to the large Yokohama crew BAYHOOD and is from the same hometown, FUNI, who is a young OG of Kawasaki, and TECH NINE, a solitary lyricist from Ishigaki, who handles the words. Mastering was done by Hiroshi Shiota, who has produced numerous masterpieces. Jake Profile Jake is an '85-style MC from Yokohama, Japan, who has been on the mic since he was 17 years old.He is a wordsmith, and his sometimes harsh rhymes are the embodiment of level music itself. In the beginning, he spent most of his time in battles and sessions with live bands. After 10 years of activity, he released a 7-inch "More&More" as GunJapanez, a crew to which he belongs. After that, he released "Shaman" and "Shiriasu" as Jake &snuc, the EP "Zan" with guitarist Yukihiro Atsumi, who also participated in DJ KRUSH's album, "1371" and "Berserk" from the acid unit NeZZireno with beatmaker Takr0, and the 7-inch "More&More" as GunJapanez. After a chance encounter with his contemporaries TECH NINE, he joined forces with ill-sugi and released "SOURCE" as ILL-J-TECH. He is active not only in his hometown Yokohama and Tokyo, but also in Okinawa and Yamanashi outside of the Kanto region. He is a big dog lover and his favorite dog is Jamal, a golden retriever.
