The Thursday Gekijo for the July 2024 season will be an original drama series "Geeks: Police Station Freaks," starring Mayu Matsuoka in her first starring role in a Fuji Television GP series. The "geeks" of the title are, in other words, smart geeks. They are people who are curious and possess exceptional knowledge and skills, but are not good at human relations. This film is a new kind of "well-wisher mystery-solving entertainment" in which female geeks from the police department, who are smart but have trouble with relationships, super-assist each other in solving crimes at weekend well-wisher meetings."
