The album features works by Ravel, with "Pavane for a Dead Princess" and "Couperin's Tomb" arranged by the Linos Piano Trio themselves into a piano trio version. The arrangement for piano trio version allows the dances depicted in "Couperin's Tomb," which Ravel dedicated to his friends who died in World War I, to be expressed more clearly.
