This is a collection of chamber music works by Noriko Kawakami, a composer born in Ehime Prefecture who is active in Germany. After studying under Ryohei Hirose at the Kunitachi College of Music, Kawakami moved to Germany in 1987, where she studied in Freiburg and Essen. Kawakami has created an interesting sound world with unusual combinations of accordion and 17-stringed koto duo, saxophone duo and tape, and live electronics.
