This Frank Zappa '75 live recording was recorded at the County Coliseum in El Paso, Texas, on May 23, 1975, two days after the show recorded for Bongo Fury. The band features new drummer Terry Bozio, Denny Worley on slide guitar, and Captain Beefheart. Beefheart played vocals, harmonica, and saxophone on one song with madness, Jimmy Carl Black of the original Mothers joined on vocals on two of the songs, Zappa's childhood friend Denny Worley's unique slide style, and his best singing as a vocalist Napoleon Murphy Bullock, George Duke, and the Fowler brothers Tom and Walt, all of whom add their experimental sensibilities to the mix, along with a series of great guitar solos by Zappa.
