DRUM-MACHINES" was presented on October 7, 2016 at the Strasbourg Festival, where eRikm composed and mixed a piece based on the sound material produced by the players. The second session for this recording was a turning point for the current members of the Strasbourg Percussion Group, the fourth generation in the group's 50-year history, in terms of how to fuse so-called contemporary music and electro music. The group's fourth generation has reached a major turning point in its 50-year history. The music is overwhelmingly noisy, starting from a few notes and gradually increasing in amplification, but it is somehow pleasant, perhaps because of the constant rhythm of the piece, and the performers' high sense of style is on display.
