Inspired by the songbooks collected by Alan Lomax, here is a compilation of two generations of singers from all over the island of Ireland. Singing, a tradition in Ireland, has been practiced everywhere since the 13th century, in pubs and private homes, and is shared and shared with younger generations. Some of the songs have already been recorded in other works, but all the others were recorded by the singers themselves on their cell phones. Perhaps because of this, the singers' voices, full of improvisation and realism, are beautifully captured. Comes in card gatefold sleeve with liner notes on each song by the singers.
