Arjen Anthony Lucassen's Star One "Revel In Time" Arjen Anthony Lucassen's STAR ONE project. The project has been relaunched with Steve Vai, Michael Romeo, and over 30 other guests! Arjen Anthony Lucassen is a Dutch artist who has been consistently producing rich and intense works under the name AYREON since "Transitus" (2020), and under the name STAR ONE project, since "Victims of the Modern Age" (2009), and since then, he has released two albums under the name STAR ONE. of the Modern Age" (2010) under the name of AYREON, and "Revel in Time" is the first work under the STAR ONE project's name in 12 years." STAR ONE is the metal version of AYREON," says Arjen. In contrast to "Transitus," which focused more on vocals, "Revel in Time" focuses more on performance, including heavy guitar riffs. STAR ONE's commitment to film-inspired works is also a hallmark of the band: the first, "Space Metal" (2002), was set in a universe similar to that of the film "Alien," while the second, "Victims of the Modern Age," was a dystopian work that was inspired by the film "A Clockwork Orange. The second, "Victims of the Modern Age," was darker and inspired by dystopian works such as the film "A Clockwork Orange. And now, "Victims of the Modern Age," as the title suggests, is a cross between "Travel in Time" with the "T" removed and "Revel in your time," a line from Dr. Tyrell's dialogue in his favorite movie, "Blade Runner," inspired by films that manipulate time and space in a variety of ways. The title of the album is a cross between the line "Revel in your time" uttered by Dr. Tyrell in his favorite movie "Blade Runner. Furthermore, CD1 and CD2 feature the same songs, but with different singers.This was not the intention from the beginning, but rather, after offering the project to a number of musicians, almost all of them responded that they would like to participate, resulting in a large volume of content. The core of STAR ONE's sound is the guitar and bass work of craftsman Arjen, and the powerful drums of Ed Warby. The artwork by Arjen's trusted artist, Jef Bertels, is also a must-see. (1/2)
