It features recordings of works by four female composers, from Hildegard to Hidur. Emily's first inspiration was the medieval abbess Hildegard von Bingen. Here Emily sings in the latest arrangement by American composers Missy Mazzoli and Sarah Kirkland Snyder.The program also includes original works by Mazzoli and Snyder, as well as a charming vocal work by Oscar-winner Hidul Gudnadottir.
