His indie releases "Mr. Loverman" and "Line Without a Hook" became unexpected indie pop hits from TIKTOK and others. This led him to decide to face himself as an artist once again. RICK" is the second chapter of artist Ricky Montgomery's major label debut album on Warner Records.Created with veteran Grammy Award-winning songwriters Dan Wilson and Jeremy Hatcher, and Grammy-nominated producer Tommy English, the album balances soul-searching with sadness and doubt, lightness and cheerfulness. Here, the story of a life in all its messy, mundane glory is spun together with alternate pop that merges electro elements with emo. This is the second chapter of Ricky Montgomery's life, colored by the mundane daily routine and the miraculous events that sometimes occur. After millions of followers and sold-out tours, he is now back on the road as an "artist" and documenting his life in song.
