A masterpiece with the participation of Johannes Moser! Kalitzke's "Story Teller" is back! Johannes Kalitzke, born in Germany in 1959, is an internationally active musician in both composition and conducting of contemporary music. He studied piano at the Cologne Conservatory with Alois Kontarsky, conducting with Wolfgang von der Namer, and composition with Jorg Heller. The "Story Teller" is a cello concerto inspired by the work of iconic British fashion photographer Tim Walker, and here the talented cellist Johannes Moser performs a stunning solo. The "Shadows on the Horizon" for ensemble of six instruments (viola, cello, flute, clarinet, piano, and percussion) and solo violin is a memorial work consisting of "five obiatuaries" (obituaries) dedicated to a deceased colleague. Ivana Pristashova's presence solo is also notable here. Tokyo M-Plus
