Following the recent release of his concert live performance with the Teatro La Fenice Orchestra, Italian composer, conductor, and pianist Ezio Bosso's second album with Sony Classical, "The 12th Room," is now available. In 2015, Bosso released "The 12th Room," his first solo piano album on an indie label and his first new album in a long time, and it suddenly reached #20 on the all-genre charts. In addition, his appearance at the following year's Sanremo Music Festival in 2016 and his 15-minute live performance there ignited Bosso's popularity and he reached #5 on the pop charts. It stayed in the Top 20 for the next 15 weeks, selling 50,000 copies. The current release, The 12th Room, is a self-remake of that hit and was recorded in Reggio Emilia in November 2016.The title "The 12th Room" is taken from an ancient myth that life consists of 12 rooms. The album is based on the theme of reincarnation, in which we return to the first room (when we were born) when we arrive in the last room, the 12th room. ＜Ezio Bosso was born in Turin. Influenced by his older brother's love of music, he made his debut in France as a soloist at the age of 16, and later studied composition and conducting at the Vienna Academy of Music. Eclecticism, diversity, and generosity have been the hallmarks of his artistic career, which has included all manner of collaborations as a composer, performer, conductor, and member of chamber music ensembles. His musicality has been acclaimed as major music in London, Sydney, New York, Turin, and elsewhere in the world.His ballet music has been performed by renowned choreographers at the Vienna State Opera, Royal Opera House, New York City Ballet, Theatre du Chatelet, San Francisco Ballet, Bolshoi Theatre, etc. He has also composed soundtracks for films. Still an active musician, 2016 was a year for Bozzo, who was recognized as Italy's most successful musician, with more than 100,000 people attending his concerts and paying tribute to him. Sony Music
