The debut album from Bree, a Nashville rock band reminiscent of 90's garage and grunge rock." Bree is a four-piece band that appeared at the 2014 Bonnaroo and was called "the best band to see in Nashville in 2014. Of special note is frontwoman Alicia Bognanno. Alicia Bognanno is the guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, producer, and engineer. With her blonde hair, she strums her guitar and leads the band with her sweet, slightly lisping voice, reminiscent of Courtney Love. The band's slightly violent name (Bully means "to bully," etc.) comes from Alicia's worldview of lyricism and sound, which she describes as stirring. Alicia majored in sound engineering in college and worked as an engineer at Steve Albini's Electrical Audio in Chicago. Her experience working with her heroes at the time, The Breeders, Liz Phair, Superchunk, and The Stooges, shows that there is no compromise when it comes to sound.The intuitive power of a woman and rock music go hand in hand!
